Meet your Mystic
Some people teach from books. Takeyla teaches from having actually lived it — the falling apart, and the long, unglamorous work of putting herself back together into something even more whole than before. Hers has not been one descent but several, each one a dark night of the soul that broke something open rather than broke her down, each one deepening her connection to the Goddess a little further. Along the way, she took her healing into her own hands — releasing migraines that once ruled her days, calming blood pressure that medicine could not settle, easing a body that ached without explanation, and finally, fully, moving through clinical depression and out the other side. That is the root of everything she offers now. Not performance. Not perfection. Just a woman who has walked through fire and can now hold your hand while you walk through yours.
She moves through the world as Mystic Key — a Black woman, a mother, an introvert who feels everything in a room before she understands why. An empath by nature, an INFJ by design, she carries the depth of all the women of her lineage — ancestors living and loving through her as one. She is a poet, a storyteller, an artist, because some truths can only be explained by way of beauty. And she is, unapologetically, a scholar — a polymath who has never ceased in her study of the sacred, because learning is one of the ways she loves.
That devotion to learning became devotion in practice: over twenty-five years of meditation, yoga, and energy work refined into daily ritual. She is a Reiki Master, a certified yoga teacher, and an ordained minister, trained across coaching, mindfulness, and the psychology of healing. She is not here to fix you, because she does not believe you are broken. She is here to help you remember — your worth, your power, your original wholeness. Your divinity.
For years, this same devotion has moved through corporate walls too — as an experienced diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging practitioner shaping culture from the inside, and leading individuals and groups through heart-centered, transformative cohort learning. It is proof that this medicine belongs as much in the boardroom as it does on the altar — that healing and leadership were never two separate callings.
Maybe you're reading this in a moment that feels heavy — uncertain, unraveling, hard to name. Maybe nothing in your life looks the way you thought it would by now. Mystic Key wants you to know: that feeling is not evidence that something has gone wrong. Often, it's the exact feeling that comes right before a soul remembers itself — before it reignites its light in the darkest moment. Liminal Alignment was built for this threshold — love as the foundation, self-knowledge as the path, and divine alignment as the destination, until wholeness is not something you reach for but something you simply are. She has been there. She knows the way back. And she would be honored to walk beside you.
May all souls meet in Ma'at and live by Ubuntu. May you return to divine alignment. May you meet your highest self with love — today, and every day after.
